Childcare provider

Commitment	Description of duties
Short term: day long events Long term: 1-2 hrs a week, year round	Provide childcare for parents who are attending agency programs. Assist program staff with day to day activities

Special friend

Commitment	Description of duties
Long term	Mentor and build a lasting relationship with a child through outings/activities, demonstrating problem solving techniques and age appropriate behavior

Driver

Commitment	Description of duties
Long term: 1-2 hours a week	Punctually driving clients to and from scheduled visits or appointments, always ensuring the client is left in the care of a responsible adult. Report any pertinent information observed or said by clients.

Van driver

Commitment	Description of duties
Long term	Drive large client groups to and from programs. Abide by safe driving practices. Work closely with program coordinators in setting schedules.

Special Tasks

Commitment	Description of duties
Short term	Volunteers also perform tasks of a 'one-time' nature: clerical support, fundraising, public displays, etc.

Translator

Commitment	Description of duties
Long term: as required	Provide ongoing assistance when there is a language barrier between the Society and client(s)
