The Youth Criminal Justice Act is the federal legislation that replaced the Young Offenders Act in April 2003. this training will provide a brief overview of how charges laid under the YCJA make their way through the ciminal justice system and cover topics such as extrajudicial meansures, judicial interim release (bail), youth sentences, and sharing of information. WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11, 2012 @ 10:00-12:00noon in the Maple Leaf Room at 410 Sunset.
